我深信，不管本世紀的文明進步有多快速，造成我們目前困境的最主要理由，便是我們過分的偏執於物質的發展。我們已經太著迷於追逐物質，甚至對這種情形懵然無知，因此便忽略了愛心、仁慈、合作以及關懷的最基本的人性需求。
